In addition to being a Councilmember and lifelong Ontario resident, Daisy is a Community Relations Manager for a local housing foundation, is serving as President of the Ontario City Library Board, and is an active community volunteer. She and her husband own a home here in Ontario.
As Mayor, Daisy wants to eliminate homelessness, better maintain our infrastructure, reduce traffic by requiring construction to be completed at night, increase neighborhood patrols, assign an officer to each school campus to enhance public safety, and bring more affordable housing with better-managed growth.
We must provide permanent supportive housing to get people off the streets, protect the disadvantaged, and keep our neighborhoods clean.
We must quickly repair our potholes and modernize our city's aging infrastructure to ensure long-term public safety.
To improve daily commutes, we must reduce traffic congestion and heavily penalize reckless driving in our community.
Keeping Ontario safe means adding police patrols, cracking down on gangs and drugs, and securing schools.
